InsSciDE at Brussels Diplomacy and Development Event

InsSciDE at Brussels Diplomacy and Development Event

As the InsSciDE project prepares to investigate the history of European Science Diplomacy we are engaging with various conferences and events across the continent.

Between the 14th and 15th May, the University of Warwick Brussels Office will host a Horizon 2020 workshop on ’Diplomacy and Development: Trends and Challenges for Europe and its Partners’.

The event will host a number of speakers broaching a range of topics, such as cultural diplomacy, the impact of EU mobility schemes, global health policy and diplomacy, and science diplomacy.

Léonard Laborie, a Research Fellow at the CNRS and Science Advisor in the InsSciDE project’s coordination team, will represent InsSciDE at the Brussels workshop. He will present on "Thinking about the future of European science diplomacy with history”.

The event is expected to be a fascinating one, with the potential to inform future InsSciDE research that seeks to invent a shared science diplomacy for Europe.
