First Open Conference in Kraków: register your interest!

InsSciDE’s First Open Conference provides a unique space to create new networks and connections between science diplomacy researchers, experts and practitioners. By fostering cross-sectoral dialogue, the Open Conference encourages researchers and practitioners to enhance and enrich perspectives on science diplomacy.

We warmly invite practitioners and experts in science diplomacy to take advantage of a unique opportunity for cross-sectoral dialogue at InsSciDE’s First Open Conference in Kraków, from 18th to 20th January 2019.

Sessions at the conference will explore pressing issues and challenges relating to European migration, and the solutions, opportunities and insights that are offered by science and diplomacy. The final day of the conference will host sessions exploring the InsSciDE project’s thematic areas of research: Heritage, Health, Security, Environment and Space.

There will be opportunities for plenary discussions and dialogue, and participant involvement in workshops. The conference will be held jointly with the Academy of Young Diplomats’ annual training conference for young diplomatic trainees.
