Benjamin G. Thierry is Assistant Professor of Modern History at Sorbonne Université where he teaches media and history of technology. He is also vice-president for IT and Digital Humanities at Paris-Sorbonne University where he leads a team in charge of Moocs and Spocs in humanities. His PhD (2013) explored the history of man-machine communication, interactivity and socialization of computers in France from the 1960’s to the present. He acts as Scientific ‘Monitor’ for the coordination of InsSciDE.
