David Aubin is Professor in the History of Science at the Science Faculty of Sorbonne Université and a member of the Institut de mathématiques de Jussieu-Paris rive gauche (CNRS, Université Paris-Diderot, and Sorbonne Université). Trained in the History of Science Program at Princeton University, his research focuses on mathematization, observatory sciences and the relationship between science and war.
