Laurence Roche Nye received an LLB in European Law from Université des Sciences Sociales de Toulouse and holds a PhD in Slavic Studies from Université Paris Nanterre. She is a visiting lecturer at International Space University on intercultural communication in the space sector. Author of a thesis on “French-Soviet space cooperation and scientific networks during the Cold War (1966-1988). Transfers, circulations and power”, she investigates the capacity to cooperate in a context of tense international competition. Her current research focuses on the emergence of the European human spaceflight programme through biomedical micro-gravity experimentation.
