Olga Dubrovina graduated with a degree in Contemporary History from Moscow State University Lomonosov (MSU) in 2004 and in Communication of Enterprises and International Organizations from Modena and Reggio Emilia University in 2010. She obtained a PhD degree from Modena and Reggio Emilia University in 2015 with a thesis on ’Images of Soviet Union in fascist Italy’ and a second PhD from Moscow State University Lomonosov in 2017 with a thesis on ’Construction’s mechanism of representations about Soviet Russia in Italy: 1922-1943’. From 2015 till 2018 she was an adjunct professor at Modena and Reggio Emilia University where she lectured in Russian history and culture.

Current position: Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI), University of Padua, conducting a study for InsSciDE on Russian Science Diplomacy throughout the Space race during the Cold War.

Olga is a case study author in InsSciDE’s space work package and will be a teacher in Warsaw Science Diplomacy School 2021.
