UNESCO: Consortium #4, WP9 LEADER

Christina Bürgi Dellsperger, Ph.D. in History and qualified professor, is a Swiss diplomat with vast experience working on EU issues, covering the domains of politics, culture, economics, finance, science, environment, human rights and security. She has been deployed at the Embassies of Switzerland in Rome, Rabat, Tokyo, Luxemburg, Paris, Kiev and Ankara, as well as at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in Berne, Switzerland. Since June 2019, she has been on loan as Senior Policy Advisor to UNESCO Science, mainly responsible for Science Diplomacy.

Within InsSciDE, Dr. Christina Bürgi Dellsperger coordinates UNESCO’s duties under the project: managing communications, providing visibility and ensuring project legacy, as well as embedding linkages between InsSciDE and EU science policy- and decision makers.
